APEARE

The Alliance for Positive Environmental Impacts & Reforestation (APEARE) has been featured in The Responsible Citizen (TRC), the official in-flight publication of Air Botswana, in their March 2026 Nature & Green Innovation edition.

The feature, titled “From Research to Restoration: How APEARE Links Sustainable Livelihoods to Forest Conservation,” opens the magazine’s Nature section. It traces the vision behind our programs, our field methodology, and a growing portfolio of on-the-ground results, including our UNDP GEF-SGP funded agroforestry project where farmers harvested measurable yields from land that was once degraded.

Being featured in a pan-African publication read by business travelers, policymakers, and decision-makers across the continent is a milestone worth pausing on.

Many thanks to the team at TRC for this recognition and for the partnership that made it possible.
